Transformers
The PRANA system is used for online monitoring and prediction of the technical condition of transformers. Main types of defect:
- disturbance of thermal conditions;
- moisture content in oil and solid insulation;
- oil gas content;
- voltage surges;
- partial discharges in insulation;
- disturbance of vibration parameters and load modes.
Distribution of faults through transformer components (cumulative statistics):
- transformer tap changer: 40%;
- winding: 30%;
- bushing/leads: 14%;
- oil tank: 6%;
- core: 5%;
- cooling system: 5%.
